Things I am enjoying today/lately:
One good thing about having gone through hardships in life (no matter what they are, but “better” if they are really bad ones), is that you can go through other struggles and say “Oh, I can overcome this, I’ve been through worse!”.
That is something I am saying to myself a lot, these days.
I asked my friends, How do you be happy for someone when you are feeling sad?
And I had plenty of good answers. But this one is worth sharing here:
It’s valuable to keep Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) in “your face” when going through though a sad or confusing time.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
God KNOWS the PLANS He has for YOU. They are GOOD plans full of HOPE and a FUTURE.
Also: KNOW there is an enemy at work attempting to create fear and doubt - wanting you to fail.
And when she wraps her hand
around my finger
It puts a smile in my heart
Everything becomes a little clearer
I realize what life is all about
It’s hangin’ on when your heart has had enough
It’s giving more when you feel like giving up…

Who likes the idea of surrendering? I, for one, do not. Surrender basically means relinquishing one’s own will to a higher power, and it is really one of the most difficult things to do. And I think that is because we don’t have trust, or enough trust, in the higher power.
My pastor preached about surrender last Sunday. I’ve heard sermons like that before, and I remember that in March of this year I surrendered something to God… but later I took it back again. I took back what I surrendered to Him. And that was a mistake. I have learnt that what I have surrendered to God, I should just leave it with Him… because He knows how to deal with it much better than I do!
And so, last Sunday, I told God that I am surrendering the same thing again. I gave Him the dearest desires of my heart, and guess what happened? It was immediate — He gave me peace, and joy. I know that no matter what happens in my life, I will be okay. It has been proven time and time again. Here’s hoping I don’t again take back what I have already surrendered (for the second time!).

He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge (Psalm 91:4)
If you never felt pain, then how would you know that I am a Healer?
If you never had to pray, How would you know that I am a Deliverer?
If you never had a trial, how could you call yourself an overcomer?
If you never felt sadness, How would you know that I am a Comforter?
If you never made a mistake, How would you know that I am a forgiver?
If you knew all, How would you know that I will answer your questions?
If you never were in trouble, How would you know that I will come to your rescue?
If you never were broken, Then how would you know that I can make you whole?
If you never had a problem,How would you know that I can solve them?
If you never had any suffering, Then how would you know what I went through?
If you never went through the fire, Then how would you become pure?
If I gave you all things, How would you appreciate them?
If I never corrected you, How would you know that I love you?
If you had all power, Then how would you learn to depend on me?
If your life was perfect, Then what would you need me for?
Love,
Jesus

Ohh! I love it! Thank You so much Lord! ♥
